Police prosecutor last week placed a charge of theft against one Sadibou Badjie before Magistrate P.M Sarr at the Brikama Magistrates’ Court.
Badjie was granted a court bail in the sum of D60, 000 with two sureties who must deposit their national identification cards to the court and swear to an affidavit of means.
He is accused of stealing two bulls, valued D50, 000 from President Jammeh’s Bunuborr farm in Foni Kansala District on 14th October 2016. He denied liability of the charge.
Police prosecutor, Sergeant 2294 Jammeh then applied for an adjournment of the case to enable him call his witnesses to testify. The magistrate adjourned the case to 25th January 2017 for hearing.
